RETURN AND EXCHANGE
Here at TyphoonHelmets we want you to be happy with your purchase.
If for any reason you are not happy with the purchase, simply send your items back by following the instructions in our return policy. We do not charge any restocking fee if your item is returned within 21 days, nor do we charge for reshipping one size exchange as many companies do.
To keep up the great prices and to serve you better please adhere to our return policy. Please read our return policy BEFORE you try on your new Helmet.
Return & Exchange Policy
You do not need a return authorization for a helmet return or exchange. Just follow the instructions below.
Try your helmet and/or gloves and goggles on. DO NOT remove any tags or labels or lens/visor protective film until you are 100% sure that everything fits and that the color/style that you ordered is what you wanted. If you remove any of the tags/labels or lens/visor protective film your order cannot be returned for refund or exchanged. If your helmet was purchase as a gift, you may want to save the outer shipping box in case there is a need for a return or exchange.
Shipping charges are NOT refunded. Partial returns are refunded accordingly. Items must be in original packaging (helmet bag and helmet box) and in new condition (tags attached, visor/goggle film still in place, gloves in original plastic bag, goggles in plastic bag). You must return the item in a strong outer box (the outer box we used is OK for return), you can use USPS, FedEx or UPS whatever is cost effective for you. Please enclose a copy of the invoice that was sent to you and instruction of what your request is: Refund, Size exchange, color style exchange.
- The customer is responsible for properly packaging and insuring returned items.
- The customer is responsible for paying return shipping.
- No returns, refunds, or exchanges on sale merchandise in closeout section.
- Items for return received greater than 30 days after the delivery date will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Exchanges for size will not accepted after 30 days and returns for refund will not be accepted after 45 days from date of delivery.
- All items sold with free shipping and returned for refund will be refunded less our original shipping costs.
Free Shipping Items: Orders and items eligible for free shipping that are returned for refund will be refunded less the original shipping charges we incurred to ship the order to you.
Your return will be processed within 48 hours of our receiving your package and will be shipped to you via 3/5 day ground service. We will pay the shipping cost back to you for one size exchange. Any additional requests for exchange will require a $15.00 shipping and handling charge. Items that have already been exchanged and are returned for refund will be refunded less the original shipping + a $15.00 service fee. International shipments, APO/FPO shipments, and shipments to Alaska/Hawaii do not qualify for free shipping exchanges.
Return & Exchange Instructions
- Send back only what you need to exchange. Place helmet with tags and any protective films attached back in the protective bag, and into the original box.
- Tape the box closed and place your label on the top of the box. Note: you can use whatever carrier is the most cost effective.
- Include a note enclosed with the size you need to exchange for. You can use the packing slip that was included in the shipment, or add your contact information and we will contact you once the package is received.
We will ship a new helmet, or other item(s), as soon as possible. Exchanges typically ship the next business day once we receive the original order. Typhoon helmets will cover shipping costs for the exchange back to the customer.

Holiday Returns & Exchanges
All orders purchased between November 1st and December 25th will be given an extended returns period. All items to be returned or exchanged must be returned by January 15th. All other return policies still apply.
