Kids 5 to 9 years old

Typically 17" to 21" seat height 50cc/70cc/80cc/90cc Dirt Bikes

For both the 5 to 9, and 7 to 10 age groups, it really depends on what bike has the more appropriate stand over height (seat height). Experience level will ultimately help you decide on what the best dirt bike to buy might be. A tall 6 year old with no riding experience should probably start on a 50cc rather than a bike over 80cc. Generally, a 110cc like the Honda CRF110F would be suitable for riders in the 8-10 year range.

Kids 3 to 7 years old

50cc dirt bikes

For very young riders a single speed 50cc would be the best choice for learning how to ride and handle a dirt bike - with supervision of coarse. There are a number of 50cc models that really cater to this age group available in 2 or 4 stroke in single speed or 3 speed automatic.
